ISTANBUL DREAM

Istanbul is one of the most beautiful cities in Turkiye,and it has also a good reputation in the world.It is a dream that must be lived by everyone.The bridges that combine the Asian and Europe,They are not only bridges of roads but also of cultures.
I think Istanbul has a magic taking people to itself.Green and blue are in an incredible harmony.Looking from one of the hills to Istanbul....A lot of poets use it in their poems.It gives inspire to writers,too.In our culture's poets I can give example of Yahya Kemal Beyatlı,Orhan Veli etc.
Birds are even different in Istanbul.They fly differently,they carry love with them.Bosphorus...It is incredible to believe it but it is real.Leaving yourself into the deep waters of the Bosphorus,losing something at the back roads of Istanbul....You feel yourself in Istanbul.
Getting up in beyoğlu,having breakfast in Fatih across to the sea,travelling in Topkapı Palace by getting lost in history,swimming in Beykoz are the only some parts of Istanbul Dream.It is number one in history,number one in beauty like other cities in our country.
Of course it has some problemsIt is overcrowding,polluted.It has traffic congession etc.but it still save its beauty in itself.If you still did not go there,visit it one time and come in the magical dream of Istanbul...

LITHUANIA

When I was in high school,we went to Lithuania via the Comenious Project.Our teachers were interested in the project,they encouraged us to go.The pirincipal selected three or four students in each class. On 28th march,we firstly went to İstanbul by bus.We arrived in airport and then we went on plane.
After the 3-hour-journey,we saw there.When we came in their airport the students and their teachers met us.I met the girl with whom I would stay in home for 10 days.It was Egle,at the same age with us.
The next day,we began to travell.They brought us to their school.It was very big and beautiful.In theır system not the teachers but the students change the class.Now that each teacher has own class.
We went to Trakai.It was the place where the Turks lived in times.There was a castle ın the mıddle of a lake.It used to belong to Turks of that time.Moreover we travelled some museums.
The city center is divided into two part.One part is called Old Lithuania and the other is New Lithuania.In Old Lithuania,there were a lot of churches.In New Lithuania part,there were a lot of new buldings usually used for bussiness.
We went to ice-skying.I had done it for the first time in my life so I fell down several times and everybody laughed at me.Then we went to ride horse.It was also very enjoyful.
When we were there,we had difficulty in finding food.It was very difficult to eat food good for us.As you know they consume pork a lot,we always went to MC Donald's to eat chicken.I remember drinking "macoroni soup" in the house.
Our travell lasted ten days.We enjoyed it a lot.But it is impossible to tell everything here.We got really happy to have gone there.It is very good to know new cultures.

TURKISH EATING HABIT

Turkey has a different eating habit considering other countries,and also food is very important for Turkish citizens.I think that we have an affluent cuisine.Our country have variety of foods in different part of it.For example;in the north part of it,seafoods are very common,and delicious.They eat fish,and hamsi,etc,and also they can do variety of foods with fish from rice to bread.And in the east part of it,people eat spicy foods with meat,as iskender,adana,raw meatball.In addition to them,in the south part of Turkey,people usually eat vegetables.They don't like eating meat.Their cuisine is far from the cuisine in the east part.They think that eating vegetable is healthy,so they prefer eating vegetables.As you can see,our country has a rich cuisine ,and each of them is worth tasting.

COPING WITH BROTHERS AND SISTERS

I have a brother and a sister,and i think that coping with a brother or a sister is always a hard work.Because when they make something bad ,your parent sees you as a responsible person in that event.Because you are older than them,and you know everything exactly,and you are responsible for their behaviors,or what they do.The other problem is that when coping with your brother or sister,you are a mature person,but when it comes to do something different you are still a child in the eyes of your parent.For example,my brother and my sister are always quarrelling with each other,and i don't even know the source of their quarrel,but all the same i am a responsible person for their quarrel.Although everything,having a sibling is a gratefull thing.Because ,if you have sibling it means that you have somebody to share your life.

PERSONALITY

People have different personality traits.This difference is because they live in different places,and have different environment.I think environment is important in personality traits because you learn everything from your environment.Our first environment is our

families.When we begin to grow up ,our environment starts to enlarge ,too.So we know a lot of people and a lot of information from them.These people and information form our personalities.In summary,our environment is important in our personalities because people and their knowledge influences us.

COMPUTERS

Computers have changed our life extremely.This change is sometimes good,sometimes bad.On the good side,you can find almost any qouestion easily and quickly by means of them.However,you must check the information because it cannot be true.Moreover,you can meet new people online,so you can get a lot of information about people,countries and cultures.In addition, you can keep your notes which you study,as filed on your computer.On the bad side;computer plays aren't good for children because some plays are about wars and weapons.Moreover ;when you work on computer too much your eyes start to become red.Furthermore;people who are always dealing with computers have some difficulties communicating with other people.In coclusion ,computers can be good or bad,but it has an important place in our lives,so be carefull when using them.

An unforgettable dream

I have an unforgettable dream.When i was a child ,i was afraid of gypsies,and beggars.This day i saw a gypsy and a beggar in our city.I was scared.When nigt came,and i went to my bed,i was only thinking them,and couldn't sleep.Sometimes later i slept,and i saw a dream of a gypsy.She came to me ,and kidnapped me.I was only crying when i woke up.Then i called my mother ,and she came to
me ,and relaxed me.It was very bad for me,and i
couldn't go out for days.
